OUR HISTORY
La Différence Time Centre was founded in 1978 in downtown Toronto, and has served the Greater Toronto Area for over 40 years. Until today, it has remained an independent family-owned and run business.
The Establishment
La Différence Time Centre, originally managed with the name of David Watch Company, was founded in 1978. David Watch Company opened its first retail store at Yonge and Dundas in downtown Toronto. Back then, David Watch Company offered a wide selection of fine jewellery, accessories, and Swiss watches, including Rolex timepieces.
In 1988, La Différence Time Centre was established. In 1992, we moved to the prestigious Bloor-Yorkville neighbourhood at Bloor Street at Avenue Road, continuing to offer a luxury shopping experience to the Toronto community.
In 2010, La Différence Time Centre opened an exclusive Rolex showroom at Highway 7 and Leslie Street at Times Square in Richmond Hill, Ontario, to cater to the needs of our clients beyond the Greater Toronto Area.

A New Milestone
In 2018, La Différence Time Centre opened in its current location at 180 Enterprise Boulevard in Downtown Markham at Highway 407 and Birchmount Avenue, in the City of Markham, Ontario. Our exquisitely-designed store is dedicated to Rolex timepieces. The spacious 1,500 square foot Rolex showroom is Swiss-designed and includes a private guestroom and lounge area.
With our new establishment in Downtown Markham, we have successfully become a leading Official Rolex Retailer beyond the Greater Toronto Area.
